A pressure group are worried about the amount of time police in north Wales spend investigating the paranormal. The Tax Payers’ Alliance ignore complaints about demonic red dragons and cannibal killers but note that the police have been called 57 times over a five year period to deal with witches, ghosts, zombies, vampires and aliens.
BBC News have a handy graphic that breaks down these calls by year and subject. Last year had ghosts and aliens in the lead, but also zombies and witches demanding the attention of Yr Heddlu. We had a vampire free year though. The Alliance demand a more responsible attitude from the Welsh public.
No word yet on what they think of Edwina Hart replying in Klingon to a question at the Welsh Assembly.
