A surreal Sixties satire is being revived for radio at 14:30 on 26 December. The Bed-Sitting Room, set in the aftermath of the Third World War, was written by John Antrobus and the late Spike Milligan. Antrobus takes on the role of the vicar for the new production.
Paul Merton plays Captain Kak who meets Lord Fortnum, played by Derek Jacobi, who believes he is mutating into a bed-sitting room. Catherine Tate and Bernard Cribbins also star.
The Bed-Sitting Room will be on Radio 4 and BBC iPlayer to follow.
